Default Looking for a nice LS400

I have been looking for a nice low milage (under 100k) 1999-2000 southern LS400 for some time. They are out there but they want as much as the early 430s are selling for. My budget is around 10k, even the private sellers want high prices. In this case is the 400 better than the 430 or is it just preference? Could buy one with higher miles but I plan on keeping it for some time and prefer lower miles. Thoughts?

I prefer ls400, i have heard that 400' s fuel consumption is better, but not sure about this... But 400 should be cheaper than 430!

How about 111,750 miles? I found this one on Craigslist. It's at a dealer in Phoenix, so you'll have to do a bit of traveling.

1998 Lexus LS400, Pearl White! RARE & Pristine! 6573 miles/year! $8995

Yes, I did see the one near Atlanta, looks nice. May have to settle on a 98 instead of a 2000.

I'm actually at our home in Columbia SC right now. Jim Hudson Lexus here had one sitting in the back but not sure of the stats. It's black on black and a 98 to 00.. looked pretty clean.

The market here definitely sucks when trying to find a clean LS. I know of another one that was dark green on a grey/green interior but would need to find it again. Roughly around $6000 and 108,000 miles.

Best of luck with your search!

I am in Lexington, lol. If its black, its probably a 98 he should advertise it soon if it was a trade in I would think or may send it to auction because of the age.

Ahh, so you're enjoying the rain too. True... hopefully they keep it though! I grabbed a car-mart magazine while at the market earlier. I'll let you know if there is anything in there!

there are difference from 98 and 00, but not a lot! most here prefer 99-00 due to more standard features.
