Cam & Crank seals
My car is at the dealership now getting a timing belt. they said that my crank and cam seals were leaking and needed to be replaced. exactly what does this mean? will the car run smoother when they are replaced? Has the engine been damaged since they were leaking? ect... ect...
Sorry, just don't know enough about it and would like to know more.
thanks for any input.

nah, don't worry about it. normally, it is good practice to change these seals anyways whenever u change your timing belt.
so you decided to let the dealer charge you and arm and a leg to change the timing belt instead of your brother eh?

yup My brother is off working for real money... he wasn't into charity work last week.
No problem though, he said he was going to help me install front rotors and branks and plugs, wires, cap and rotor and clean the throttle body
