I've got a 1999 LS400 that I'm wanting to lower a little bit. I think it would improve handling, decrease body roll, maybe even help with MPG a little bit. I've got stock wheels on it, (16's) and for now I don't plan on getting bigger wheels. I'm kind of choosing between Tanabe DF210 springs and H&R Sport springs...from what I've been told the H&R's have less of a drop than the Tanabe's do, and from what I can find online the H&R's are about 300$, whereas the Tanabe run around 250$. Since I don't want to do anything super extreme to my car (and even a drop of 2 inches isn't anything special when you compare it to actually slamming the car) should I go with the Tanabe's or stick to the even more conservative H&R's?
What's gonna look best with stock wheels, while not stiffening up the ride too much to the point that it doesn't ride comfortably anymore? I don't want to completely throw ride quality out the window, ya know. I probably should also consider replacing shocks and/or struts too. I guess to sum it up, I want a slightly more aggressive look, better handling would be nice (but I don't have the cash for coil-overs) and but I don't want it to be super uncomfortable and harsh either. I appreciate any input.

By the time you get done with sprigs and shocks the price difference between that and the adjustable Megans isn't that significant. If going in to replace springs and unless the shocks are quite new, I suggest putting in new shocks. At ~$125 a corner with springs it adds up. The adjustable coils allow for dampening adjustments so those can be dialed in to the drivers preferences.
Any change in MPG based on ride height is not going to be significant or measurable except in a controlled wind tunnel scenario.
