Last time I had to replace a front bulb I had it done at the dealership. I now have to replace another one and I can not figure out for the life of me how to do it! Does anyone have instructions on how to replace the low beam bulb for 90-92 LS400's?

I have a 93 but I hope earlier model should be the same. On mine, the bulb is for both low AND high. The procedure is a little different for each side.
Driver side: remove the battery to gain access
Passenger side: remove the air filter housing
After you remove these things, you should be able to see the back connection of the bulbs. Remove the connections (squeeze on the clips then pull back, remove the rubber cover, undo the holding spring clip then the bulb will come out. Be carefull NOT to touch your new bulbs AND replace them in PAIR! It a good time now to upgrade.

dbullen, I also replaced a drivers side headlight bulb within the past 6 months and placed a post on this subject. I hope the attached string works for you. I learned a few things that might help you. If the thread does not work, look for posts from kjbro and find headlight topics. Became an easy project, once I completed the job. My car is a 95 LS400.
