Smooth & Quiet Ride
Hello!
I can't believe I am saying this, but after owning my LS430 for three weeks, I am very disappointed by the smoothness and quiet of the LS in town. Not that there is anything else better, just that it's not what I had expected.
On the freeway it is like floating on air, but in town, it's like every tiny bump is transferring to the cabin. I turned down the option for Euro sport and went for standard suspension.
Could it be the tires? I noticed that these 17" dunlop all-seasons have a very low profile sidewall.
Has anyone else replaced the tires in the LS430 to get a smoother in town ride? I am not a racer/daredevil on the roads, which is why I didn't get an 03' S55 AMG. I also don't want a Cadillac Deville experience where I wonder if there is even a road underneath me.
Any suggestions?

I have the 17 inch wheels with Bridgestone Turanzas. I am very intolerant of anything but a smooth ride; I find these tires to be very good, both in ride smoothness and quietness, and most of my driving is around town. I just put on the second set. I replaced the original set after 27,000 miles.
