We have a white 1996 LS 400. The odometer just turned 200,000 miles. I'm treating her to a set of new struts this week - still had the originals.
The engine still does not use oil. We bought the car in 2005 and it had 80,000 miles on it when we made the purchase.

Oh yeah - we've had the care since 2005 and have had very little in the way of issues. I've taken care of most all of the maintenance items; those I haven't taken care of I've taken to an excellent local mechanic.
My wife talks like she'd like to have an IS, but no way will I ever get rid of this car. If anything I'll find her a used IS and I'll drive this car to and from work.
