1994 LS400 running issues
I have a 1994 Lexus LS400 with 83,000 miles on it. The problem is that the car in park idles at 2000 rpm and when you put into drive it jerks like you are already pressing the gas. On top of that once shifted into drive it accelerates extremely slow god forbid you go up a hill. The only time it drives semi normal is when you switched to low drive. What could be possible issues? OBD1 scanner has been used did not throw anycodes. Thanks ahead for any advice given, Josh

if both throttle cables are properly adjusted, then it is almost always either Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) or else failing ECU capacitors, and the capacitors are the more common issue in the 1994 model!
even a replacement ECU will still need it's capacitors replaced
many times the capacitor leakage is obvious once you look inside, and as for the Idle Control Valve, there is a series of tests you can do to verify its operation:
