Factory Air Suspension Cheater on 98 LS400
It is not rocket science to figure out, and I am sure I am not the first to try this, but...in order to get the car as low as possible using the OEM adjustment arms you have to get the arm lower than the factory settings will allow. I made a short bracket for each corner which effectively moved the arm position about 1/2" lower and the results are obvious. Only problem is the car rides like crap since the air bags are almost completely deflated - but I expected that.
I was hoping that in this position I could cheat and use the "Hi" setting when I want to return the suspension to a more driveable height but that didn't work. So, this mod is not ideal but it sure looks good and as long as the bags don't blow...I'm happy with it. Cheers. Hiroshi

Hmmmm, not sure about LA roads but SD has some of the worst roads in the U.S., I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere before. Anyway, it's no different than driving your car if it was bagged or on coils - avoid dips, potholes and speedbumps and make people driving behind you go nutz! Cheers.

Yes as stated by PD you will need a controller to make them last, and if that not much longer. Your pushing the bags capacity way beyond their limit. It might look nice, but your car might not look as nice god forbids they blow while on the freeway doing 80... It does look better but I wouldn't mess around too much with OEM items that concerns safety. Why not just go for coil overs? Or a real airbag set up???
