00 LS400 -premium audio - upgrade time - beatsonic vs full upgrade???
So its finally time to go ahead and install a double din into my car. Does installing a a Double Din with just the beat sonic kit actually give me any audio quality increases or does it just sound as good as stock. Id love a little more low and mid range in the system. I have the budget to do a full system install using a 4 channel amp powering brand new components and rear speakers as well as a kicker 8" in the stock location. I dont have room to spare in the trunk as my air system install will also be happening soon and I also dont want to lose my spare tire.
So audio heads what was your experience with keeping the factory amp vs changing everything out? I dont bump my music and mainly only listen to punk, rock, and electronic music. Just want a better over all sounding experience in the car. I love the factory audio in my 2011 Mercedes GLK and would love for it to sound as good.

In the past I would rewire the whole car for new system but leave old wiring for easy put back of oem system. Now I went beatsonic for my LS. Sounds good but need better bass.

Need to confirm... is the pioneer system speakers in the doors 5.25"??? Ive read so many different threads, some stating its a 4" and the installer needs to cut it and seal it up to a 5.25". Im trying to keep it as oem as possible. I know the fronts are components, but the rears are just speakers right?
