It's a gusher! Oil that is!
Oil pouring (sort of) out from behind crank shaft pulley. It's a 97 and I'm wondering if this is as simple as doing water pump and TB along with changing the cam shaft seals that are there. Could there be a main seal in there or above that may make this not worth fixing? You can see the oil running out while the motor is running. Looks to be coming from above or around the crank pulley. Any help would be appreciated. Car has 199,xxx but runs well. It's our car for the kids to drive.
Thanks in advance!

Is replacing the crank seal part of the normal TB-WP service? Do you need to pull the crank out? Or the motor for that matter? Could it just be the cam seal (S)?

I also do the cam seals when doing a timing belt, 5-10 minutes on those too!
however, a great deal of techs skip these seal replacements, and that it likely why yours are leaking now!

it's only about 5-10 minutes of additional labor, why not?

Not if "oil is coming out from around the crank pulley"

this only applies for '89-94 cars, and MAY apply for '95-97 though I would need someone who's done a tb on them to confirm. (Billydpowell? Or have you done your TB/WP LSCowboyLS?)
'98-00 have cam seals laid out completely differently and requires the cams to be removed to replace them. Not sure if '95-97 are similar or not.
crank seals would be the same on all years LS400.

I'm going to look for a TB kit with all the seals and a WP. Going to tackle this myself I think? No rush so even if it takes me a week won't matter. Thanks for the help. Any tips would be appreciated.

typically the seals don't need to be done until the second timing belt replacement interval (180k miles) but of course this varies due to external factors like climate and oil types. because of this i recommend to change the seals at every timing belt job just to be on the safe side.
