Default Transmission gear jerk

As the title says, I notice on my 98 ls400 the transmission seem to jerk a little when shifting to 3rd gear, all the other gear shift fine and very smooth. It happen before I did a transmission drain and fill. Even after the drain and refill it still does the same. Have anyone experience this? Is it normal if not is there something I can try it possibly fix?

make sure you use real Toyota T-IV fluid and the Aisin transmissions seem to be a bit sensitive to being underfilled or overfilled by even a little bit, so recheck the level, both cold and hot while running in Park and adjust if necessary - that's about all you can do that is cheap.

The dipstick does have a textured range, just get it really good and hot after a drive on the freeway then check it on very level ground, it should be right at the top line of the textured range.
