So what "function" does the cowl serve? Is it blown or something? Just venting heat?

REALLY LOL!!! Seeing all these pics of guys spending megabucks (and hours) on chopping these great cars, only to end up with unbelievable crooked wheels made me think they were using trick camera shots, or something. I couldn't imagine they were doing that on purpose!! And I thought it was just me. Hey, it's their money. I just hope one of them isn't ever coming towards me on a sharp curve; my reflexes ain't what they used to be!!.

Not to make you angry or anything, but I didn't spend megabucks to have my car sit flush. The current alignment is set to -6 camber in the rear and -4 in the front. You can get that much out of the STOCK arms on the 1st gen LS.

Actually nascar and some other race cars use some camber to help with cornering

Extra negative camber makes sense on track cars with a strut setup since with a strut the camber goes positive as suspension compresses. You have to "build in" more camber to begin with to account for loss of it. This doesn't apply to the double wishbone setup in our cars.

Flush fab is a fab, just like the big wheel fab -- both have their place and are completely useless performance-wise. I can take sides or hate on both, but there is no point to it -- it's your car, do what you wish as long as nobody gets hurt in the process.

ca18det exit this thread, personal attacks are not tolerated.

Guys, feel free to state your opinions on the car's look/setup, but KEEP IT CLEAN. This is not a flush vs. donk vs. stock debate thread.
