Default removing the auto level motor?

Hello i've ordered 2 new hid headlamps for my 2000 Ls400 and i am trying to take out the the self adjusting bracket that it came with so i can put the motor in. I followed the instructions it came with but i still ended up breaking the clip that the ball joint goes into . I was being really careful with it too. thats getting replaced for free because i told them a clip came broken . does anyone know how i can take it out without breaking anything?

yes but i don't get why the new housing comes with a plastic joint clipped into the reflector that i am suppose to take out to put the motor in. And when the ball is clipped to the reflector it is impossible to take out without breaking it. I am pulling it slowly but it wont come out without force.

Default Figured it out

Okay I figured it out. The way to take it out without breaking the clip u just remove the motor out a little bit then you just have to push it up off the clips instead of pulling out.
