CD-Rs don't play in CD Changer 2k LS400 HELP!!
Dear CL Members,
I have a 2k LS400…ever since day one, I am having problems playing CD-Rs – tried 20 different kinds of CDRs, different brand, tried burning at slowest speeds, etc. (Yes, there are other forums similar to this but…)
If YOU were faced with the same situation, what would you do? I’d like to listen to my own CDs (songs) as many if not all of us here do as well. Thanks for your honest answers

Just to make sure; does it work with only original CD's? And they are CD Audio discs, not mp3? And the discs you make, do they work on other CD players? I remember you would have to close session at the very end of the disc write so it would be readable by CD players, not just your computer.

I wouldn't force the issue. I killed my stock Mazda cd player by playing burned CDs. If it's that important buy after market.

Here is an answer from Crutchfield:
"When a CD changer/player starts to malfunction, it seems that the "burned" CDs are the first ones to me misread by the player. Typically, the factory changers seem to be more susceptible to this problem.
My research doesn't show that your factory radio can be replaced or, at least, I don't have a dash kit or wiring harness that'll work with your car."
