lotusing

I know that this is a common problem with these cars. I have done alot of research on this forum for this issue but found nothing like mine. My tach was working fine then it drooped below the normal stopping point and just stopped working. It will move only if I race the engine then it will go up to 2k max. Is there a vacuum leak somewhere? Where can I start looking, Thanks
