Default Need a Wood Shift **** for 96 LS400

Anyone know where I can get one? I have looked at the other threads with no definitive direction. I know Ebay often has them, but I wonder where people from Ebay are getting them. Anyone know any manufactures? I would like a solid wood one, but the leather and wood ones are nice too if you can find the leather that matches. I have the brown leather. Thanks for any help provided.

Thumbs up

Don't know if this will help but, the shift **** in my '97 LS400 Coach Edition is leather and wood, and will 99% most likely fit your '96. Perhaps the dealer can special order this part? Or, you can search for a wrecked Coach Edition LS....?

Hello

Well I have a 98 LS and it did not come with the Wood Wheel or shifter. I bought mine of of ebay. Read my post.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...threadid=60293

I have no idea where these people get them from, but they do. I recomend emailing the person selling it first and asking any question you can think of. If they answer you quickly and politly then I would bit on it.

I am more than pleased with my purchase.

Default Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I did find one on ebay and actually someone from this club sent me an email offering to sell the exact one I need so problem solved. Glad I found this club. I am thinking up new questions since I just got my Lexus a week ago. Oh yea, what is the difference between the coach edition and the regular edition???

It was me Michael. I used to have a 95, and I got the wood steering from the 98, but the air bag is difference. Then I get the shifter, but I sold it and get a GS.
The coach edition got the coach leather and the wheel from the 98+badge on the side, may be some more details. If you can get the wheels from the 98, then your 96 look just like the coach edition.

That's the regular one. The coach wheels look like a big 5 spokes(dish type), if you can find the pic. of the 98-00 LS, those wheels for the coach edition.
