Make sure to check any/all hoses along with the radiator. Even a pinhole will cause a slight leak that can depreciate the amount of coolant in the system. You can also do a pressure test on the system. Use the search feature here on the forum(s), as it is VERY handy and helpful. If all else fails (not likely), then search via the web (i.e. google, etc)...
Goodluck!

This (post #4) has a pic of the dash out; (about half the removal job of the heater core) https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...d-removal.html
Are you doing this yourself? Have fun.

my mechanic found the problem, he is also a longtime family friend lucky me, and thank god!! but i did find one online oem for 389 buks so i guess i can complain and yes theres significant coolant under the carpet!!, i have had this car for 3 years and it is a great car, my son is only 11 and he asked me to never get rid of it cause he wants it when he turns 18.... i thought that was so cute , but regardless this car has gone a long way!!

If your mechanic changes the HC show him those links I posted. There are NO shortcuts to get the HC out, absolutely none. Good luck. If you have questions just ask. It is a big PITA to change. Take pics or a video so you know how everything (especially wires and wire connectors) go back together.
