Not really sure what you are referring to in regards to the diagnostic box,, can you please provide some more detail as to what you saw or post a pic. Trac Light, by what you are giving here, is suggestion a broken sensor.

what I think I understand is this......
I have a 93 lexus ls with 82k miles.
I was cleaning the engine bay, and I noticed a box that said "diagnostic" on it.
I opened it and I noticed that it had a jumper wire.
so I took out the jumper wire, but I dropped it and couldn't see where it went.
could this cause any problems with my engine?
help please
the other thing is, my "trac off" light is always on, on my instrument cluster, but I do not know why. I have checked the switch for it, but nothing seems to change.
and with that, im........silent

That TRAC OFF light can come on for any number of reasons. Mine was coming on because I forgot to reconnect a vacuum line on the intake when changing my ECT sensor. Reconnected it and haven't had any trouble since.
I know where that diagnostics box is, but I'm not sure what it's connected to or what effect removing the jumper will have.

I GOT IT. Come on people, this is America, we're expected to understand any kind of language out there.
What he's saying is in the diagnostic box in the engine bay there's a little jumper in there which he pulled out and he dropped it and can't find it. He probably pulled it out b/c it looks like a fuse and he wanted to see if it was good. This little jumper goes to terminals WA and WB, the last two terminals toward the back of the box. I don't know what it's for but it's gotta be there for a reason. And the other thing is just....the TRAC OFF light is on.
For the TRAC OFF light you need to check if there's any codes stored in the ECU. Here's how you check for codes; http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/intro/codereading.html You can also use the same terminals in the Diagnostic box in the engine bay.
For that little jumper, just put a piece of hard wire between those two terminals where the jumper was so it's connected.
