93 LS400 digital odometer stopped working
The digital odometer on my daughter's 1993 LS400 no longer works -- it's stuck. Both trip odometers work. Everything else in the instrument cluster works fine (very nicely, actually, since I pulled it and replaced the capacitors and fixed the needles a few years back following tutorials I found here).
I discovered the problem yesterday after I had finished up "fixing" the IAC valve on her power steering pump (actually just pulled it and JB Welded it closed, then put it back on) after it developed a leak. I hadn't done any work on her car in a while, so I don't know if it was working prior to my work on the PS pump or not. I guess it's possible I mucked something up while trying to make a little room so I could get the IAC valve off, although if it was mechanical (a cable or something I dislodged), I'd expect the trip odometers would also have stopped.
Anyway, obviously I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas. I could pull the cluster and look for a problem, but outside of something glaringly obvious, I don't really know what I'm looking for.
Thanks

Problem solved. I decided to treat it like a Microsoft Windows machine and try a reboot. Pulled the negative battery cable, and after re-attaching and driving a mile, the odometer clicked over a mile.
Just thought I'd reply to my own post in case anyone else ever has this problem and is looking for something to try to solve it.
