Serpentine Belt Replacement
Anyone have any tips on replacing the serpentine belt? Mine's running out of the proper range on the tensioner markings. Is it possible I need to replace the tensioner? What are the signs of a bad tensioner? Do I need any special tools to replace the belt? Do I have to make sure certain pulleys are lined up? Thanks for any info.

No, use any tool (eg. long screw driver) to move the tensioner pulley against the spring (counter-clockwise) to create slack in the belt for removal.

No, but do make sure the belt's ribs mate with the pulley's ribs correctly.
