excessive noise
so i posted a thread recently regarding wind noise in the car from the driver door. I have tried everthing with not much effect, as it seems its the entire cabin that should be quieter compared to newer, cheaper vehicles today or maybe im just too picky. Is it possible for wind noise to be coming from the firewall somehow?

No open holes in firewall(all holes are sealed), i have 99 there is a hole under front passenger seat where amplifier is (i dont think that will cause noise). Solution, is to replace
front door weather striping and the drip strip that go from front door tho the back door. Small test for u to do, open the rear door, then close, listen to the air tight sound the door make, then do the same to ur drive side front door, if the door doest make the same sound then there go ur problem.

Hmm good thought, is there any way too take a look? The car runs fine though, i'm getting just under 20mpg in the city, so i don't think there is a vacuum leak. There is however a tube that goes under the engine undercover than back in again which even has holes for the tube in the undercover, but it appears to be cut. BTW i put electrical tape intricately around the seam on the outside of the window, it honestly seemed to make a difference. How much will the window cost to reseal?, the electrical tape around the seam will crack off in winter, and it doesn't look the greatest.
