I do not own an LS400 yet, but I want one. I'm considering this one and was hoping to get some of your thoughts on the ad. Is this a fair price for this car?

It looks clean but make sure the cam belt was done at 120,000 miles.

For the condition of the car i think the price is a little bit too high but the car is nice. You can probably find a good condition 2nd gen for that much. or a 3rd gen for a little bit more.

This car on Edmunds in "Outstanding" condition and 125k miles in AZ and all options except air suspension retails for: $3919.00... Private sale is: $2740.00... If the car is in excellent condition, the carfax comes back clean, the seller has the repair records as he states in the ad, and a local mechanic gives it a clean bill of health, I'd say its worth $4500... If it requires repairs, I'd work down from that number.
