Problem w/car dying/starting on trip right now-Help 94LS400
Today I am driving from Chicago to Wash DC & just had a shop replace my power steering pump, fan bracket and put in a new Bosch 100amp OE alternator. Battery checked and was OK. Left Chicago from the repair shop last night and drove 200 miles, stopped to gas up & car would not start up/no juice & a traveler helped me jump start w/cables...started right up. Drove another 200 miles & stopped at rest stop @ 4am, woke up @ 8am this morn and car is dead again. Another traveler has helped me jump with battery cables and it's started right up again.
But afraid to turn the car off again for the rest of the 600 mile trip home. ANY idea's what could be wrong? I'll check it when I get home or at a shop on the way, but it's Saturday and don't imagine many shops will be open. Too bad I can't take it back to shop that did the repairs in Chicago.
Thanks for any suggestions while drivng back on my trip today.

It has all be said up top,
First, check your battery connections, if there is any loose connections or corrosion, it can mess with the charge.
Second, check the battery, because your vehicle sounds like it running of the alternator when it is running, so when you shut that off, and come back out, the battery has no juice. The alternator might not be charging it up, or the battery might not be accepting a new charge.
Third, I doubt the alternator is bad, otherwise the car wouldn't have gone the 200-400 miles to begin with.
If I were you and I were trying to just make it home, don't turn your car off unless your going to stop for a long time, and plan on having jumper cables, jump box, or a spare battery. Good luck traveling, stay safe.
