Replacing PS pump, No Screen in reservoir
1994 LS400
I am in the process of replacing TB, Waterpump, and PS pump.
I pulled the top off my PS pump Reservoir, and there is no Screen. Do I need this screen?

I honestly wouldnt worry about this screen too much. Just keep your PS fluid nice and fresh, and forget this screen. It can potentially get clogged and cause pressure loss in the system, but honestly, I've never seen any dirt on these screens. Our PS system is sealed, and nothing gets in there.

sorry, och--- there is crud from the lines all the time being deposited in the system. saw it in both reservoir screen and solenoid screen myself and about 20 other people on this forum.
