Fixed and running like a charm. Thanks guys! Yeah I used a whole big roll of electrical tape after splicing the wires and wrapped it up good. Punched holes in the lips of the inner fender strung it up as high as it could with zipties. Should not have any problems now, gonna keep a care full eye out for bumps now!

He has a pre 95 which does not have the same harness in the wheel well to rub under excessive drop . Only 98-00 have the issue , no one with a 95-97 with less electronics has complained .
Look for a loose ground or connector by the coils.

lil , I have never read of 1 gens complaining of this issue other than this thread , did yours have it requiring the fix ?
I also did not read it completely where he said it was rubbing it .
5ofa kind .......?
You obviously pride your self on being stock or being just good enough.
I prefer (as many do) to exceed just good enough to there own preference .
If we all preferred rolling stock we would all be driving horse draw buggies .
Know what I mean.

Sk, it's common in 1LS's as well :P but no worries.
I have to also agree with sk though, 5ofakind. I would rather be driving hard and low on my 19's with rubberbands than toting around on my stock 16's with big fluffy tires. There's a reason I pulled the fenders as much as I did :P
Also, with my 19's I get superior handling and traction compared to my stock 16's even with my stretched tires. We are not including winter performance in this as I have a set of snow tires on stock wheels specifically for that purpose, but again that is performance tires on a stock wheel.
I may actually relocate my harnesses in my LS since I believe that MAY be what I am rubbing against when my front drops at all.
Out of curiosity, how many 1LS (UCF10) guys are still running fender linings when slammed? I want to try to maintain my fender lining even when the front is dropped as low as I can get it (for now it is trimmed). What would you suggest using if I was to make a new lining (metal flashing, plastics, thicker gauge metal, etc)?
