New Guy, 99 LS400 a starting issue
Hey all,
I've been on here for a while, but I had a '93 aristo, so I figured I had to upgrade. I bought a 99 LS400 w/88K miles a few months ago. the car runs beautifully, and I'm in love with it. The only issue I have now, is since winter is coming, I decided to put her in the garage, and drive my Durango. Well when I went to start her up, all the lights are dim, the memory seats are slow, and the car was slow to turn over. It started, but the Check VSC and VSC off light came on, and the battery light came on. I revved it up, and of course everything brightened, and the battery light goes off. So I turned it off and came back a few minutes later to put some gas in the car. Now all I have are clicks. I took it to Autozone and had them check the battery and alternator about a week ago, and they said everything was fine. I searched around and it was mentioned that the battery might not have enough cold cranking amps, could this be the case? should I pull the battery out and have it tested on it's own? Any help would be awesome, and this site is great, I have learned tons about my car.
