90 LS400 Master Key with Transponder; Where to get & how much?
So i only have a 'valet' key so it seems...works fine but i've been wanting the one-button transponder key.
I'm located in the san fernando valley, CA...and i've called quite a few lexus dealers; cheapest one wants $300 for the ($245) key/ ($55) programming aside from a 3 day waiting period to receive the part, since it's special order.
-Does anyone have an idea as to where to purchase that master key at a cheaper price? In person or online maybe?
-Does it 100% have to be programmed by the dealer ($55)? Or can I use instructions from somewhere on the web (free)?
-Can a used one be purchased (lets say from ebay) and be programmed/fixed to work like a new one?
I know it's an expensive item to obtain and put into use; but $200+ is A LOT, so $300 is insane!
Any help would be very much appreciated!

This guy makes a good point.I have the factory keyless and dont even use.
I have a compustar two-way pager alarm with remote start, way better if you ask me.If you dont have money and can find the factory keyless for cheap or just love that OEM feel, fine go for it.
But if you are going to spend the cash, aftermarket is the way to go.
