Adus rear bushings comments
I would like to hear some feedback on the rear bushings, the carrier axle and lateral arm. Do they squeak after awhile and how is the ride now that you have had them awhile. And did you add zerks? And where? I haven't installed them yet and couldn't find any daizens or oem . thanks

I replaced my knuckle bushings (rear trailing link) on my '96 LS400 a while back. It took 2 1/2 hrs for the right one and 30 minutes for the left one, the next day, after figuring out what to do. I bought an air compressor, sockets, air wrench, air hammer and torque wrench for about 1/2 of what a shop wanted to do it for me. I got the Adus bushings off Ebay. I used an extension on the torque wrench to make that easier, and jack stands plus put my back wheels plus blocks in front of the back wheel wells so I didn't have to worry about the car falling on me. There are several good threads with pics on the exact procedure for installing the knuckle bushings. No zerks--just lube the heck out of the bushings before install and use big pliers to press the two part together with the metal bushing installed. Good luck--it's fun! And profitable!!
