Default Year Differences (1990-1991)

About a year ago, I was in a small wreck with my 1991 Lexus LS400. The passenger fender, front bumper, passenger headlight and passenger mirror suffered some damages.

I was recently browsing online and see someone selling their 1990 Lexus LS400 for $2.5k and was interested in buying it. It has 250k miles on it so I was looking to just purchase and use the fender, the bumper, the headlight and the passenger mirror on my car. Would it work or no?

Please help me... any assistance would be greatly appreciated if possible please. At the same time, the front passenger door window will not go up and down. Is the automated assembly good to swap out as well in case I did something to the window motor.

Lastly, the wheel on the passenger front side is a bit bent but I can replace that with some rims I have right now. And really, one more thing, how about the driver side wheel struts. I need to replace the one's in my 1991 Lexus.

Basically, will the above parts work on my 1991 Lexus LS400, although the vehicle I am interested in is a 1990 Lexus LS400.

yep, LS400's from 90-92 are exactly the same (depending on options selected of course) and the 93-94's are the same with minor differences (like grill, a/c control unit etc)

Welcome to the club. Generation 1 for the LS (98-92) are exactly the same, with the exception of options differences. Gen 1.5(93-93), while sharing the same outward bodystyle, will also work with possibly a few minor mods(93 model year received more than 50 upgrades over the ORIGINAL first gen). So the answer to your question is yes, ALL of the parts will work from the 90 LS, direct swap over, no mods needed. This will give you a general overview between the different model years,,

On a different note,, what part of MD are you from? Drop down to the Neloc forum and introduce yourself. We have alot of locals in the area, and although our "regular" meet season is pretty much over for now; we still have events, meets, etc. which pop up from time to time; you should come out and join us. Let me know if I can be of any help.
