I was wondering if anyone has tried the nakamichi amp with the pioneer stereo system. I would think it sound better, but don't know cuz I haven't tried it yet. I recently got a Nak amp for the LS and plan on doing this, but was curious to know if anyone had done it before.
I do have few questions though:
1- Does anyone know what the wattage coming from the pioneer amp is?
2- Anyone know where to find the pioneer and nak amp pin out?

the wattage from the pioneer amp is 195 watt max or thats what it says on my 1995 ls400 sticker

hummmmm....the Nak amp I got says 120. Its from a 92 LS and my LS is a 93. What the heck...am still going to try it out. Wattage is not everything, but quality of sound. I just need to get a hold of which cable is which.

the wiring is different, but the primary difference in nak and non nak are the speakers and sub. just replacing the amp wont do much in terms of SQ.

I understand the difference in speakers, stereo and so forth. Its like replacing BOSS amp with a precision power...its just that much better so it should make the sound quality better. At least that's how I see it with after market stereos, but who knows, maybe OEM works differently. LOL

just picked up a nak amp and have speakers to replace. oem deck for now until navi comes. how did you're go? woo hoo for sileighties!
