i have my LS400 finally
ladies and gents i am the proud new owner of a 1991 pearl white LS400 that i was able to find in MD, a nice little drive from the valley in VA. The history of this car is notable as far as its previous owner was DJ Cash Money. I talked to him personally and was told it had been with him on many trips up and down the east coast and to Atlanta many times. This car has only 128K miles on it and the only problems i have to address is mainly the suspension. i was told by Steven Toyota mechanics that checked my car out that the power steering pump is flooded and the power steering fluid is leaking from the rack. the rack would have to be replaced as well as all ball joints in the rear and lower arms. their estimate including parts and labor is 4500 to them to cure it. im not to worried, because if i can order the parts i can have some boys of mine install it and and labor would be free. all in all, its got potential and i love this car. simply put the suspension feels great even though it needs to be replaced. at 70 on the interstate this car just simply floats. and i was able to fill it up for 50 dollars of gas at 3.05 a gallon of 93 premium octane and have about 280 miles trip to refill it from near empty. Not bad for $2600 LS400.
anyway i have to get pics soon, but my things are packed due to my situation on living accommodations as im still trying to find a place to call home. there is a few things im trying to work on as far as tint the windows and install my sound system, but that takes some time which i haven't been able to find lately. Either way im happy cause i own it now and i know if i take care of it, it will take care of me.
enjoy CL!
