Do you have slop in your driveshaft? Look here.
I know that this won't help everyone, but for those of you that have a bit of slop in your drivetrain, this is something to check before dropping 800 bucks on a new drive shaft.
When you pull the shaft out, there is a carrier bearing, slip yolk, U joint and adjusting nut. If the play is in the U-joint, you are pretty much out of luck--there is no way to grease it, and the joints are not able to be removed and reinstalled by your average mechanic. (my apologies to those who told me that and I didn't believe them)
However, if the play is in the splines, you can tighten up the adjusting nut to take the play out, and then mark the two pieces, separate them, grease them up, and reassemble.
This procedure eliminated a hiccup in my car when letting off the throttle at around 45 mph.
Anyhow, I hope this helps,
Dan
FWIW, this is and FSM page from a 94, but the assembly is identical for the 95

When accelerating to 45 or so, then letting off the throttle and reapplying, there was a drivetrain jump or hiccup, that was kinda annoying. I realize that this is something that autobox RWD cars do, but I felt that this was a bit excessive.
The adjustment almost completely took the hiccup away.

My driveshaft joint was toast... I found it cheapest to hit up a local parts place, and picked up a clean, rust-free driveshaft out of a 92 with 102k miles for only $100. The joint was perfect on it, and it came with the bushings on the ends too.
