Ebay Buyer Beware!!!! ( Brian Bartlett Motors)
I recently purchased a 1999 LS 400 from a aftermarket dealer, Brian Bartlett Inc. located in Bonita Springs Florida. I would strongly recommend not doing business with this dealer due to the following:
1. It took two months to recieve the actual title. I was initially told 2-3 weeks by the finance manager.
2. Negotiated in writing as part of purchase price replacement of the gold package trim for the original factory chrome trim including wheel caps. Two months later, after many promises and numerous phone calls the dealer provided some aftermarket inferior quality trim pieces that do not fit and now refuses to replace the center caps. in addition, The dealer has chosen to screen and not return any of my phone calls.
3. Since I purchased the vehicle site unseen ( Ebay pictures), I was told the car color was silver. It was not. The color is actually a metallic violet.
The vehicle is actually in very good condition and consider myself lucky that I am just dealing with a delayed title and a broken commitment regarding the trim replacement. What amazes me is that the owner, Brian Bartlett has chosen to not honor a contractual committment that would have cost all of few hundred dollars. If this dealer is willing to risk his reputation for such a small cost I would hate to see what he would do if it was a serious/ hidden repair problem.

I had a similar experience with the dealership I bought My 2000 ES300 at but not as bad as you. I had them do some paint work to fix some scrapes on the rear bumper. And they were going to fix a broken arm rest on the car. I eventually got these things done but not without alot of effort on my part to get them to do it even after they agreed to do them. But I figured thats what I get from a dealership who sells $300,000.00 Bentleys and who aren't to worried about the $11,000 cars like mine. But good luck with your LS.
