What do you guys think of the lextreme tt ls?
http://www.lextreme.com/tt.html
He took a '90 LS 400 and twin turboed it.
I was wondering. What you thought if you have any thoughts on the subject, but I was wondering if the process would be any similar to a '97 I have quite a bit of money saved up and I was quietly thinking about the topic in the back of my head but I would like to think about it on a more reasonable level. Well anyway comments? Suggestions?
I really only want to do 1 turbo with 8 psi, just wanted to clarify that I wasn't going to go all the way to stage 2.

i think ur best bet is to post this on the lextreme forums just because a lot of people there have FI 1uz motors.
it WILL be different and i dont recomend that u take on a project like this without having a fairly good idea of exactly what u need to do. for example, the manifolds that lextreme used will NOT fit on ur car, and the 1uz u have is a decent bit different externally from his 1st gen.

As far as performance and the make-over of this car goes
Gas consumption is another and it probably is on par with an H2. That saved up $$ will be sent out the tail pipe depending on your foot.
Me, I'd rather buy a purpose built car for thrills. The excitment of the build is what many of my hot rod buddies like.

I bet doing all that work cost soo much. Having a custom car is cool but i think an LS is a cruiser and always will be. Putting a diff engine and all those upgrades makes a car witha conflicted identity. I would just buy a GS400 upgrade the suspension and call it a day. It'd be classier too. IMO

i think cost was the leasst of his his worries.
all you guys are missing the point, its SUPPOSED to be unique, ell lextreme (dave i think ) was the first to make a TT setup work on his LS. its SUPPOSED to emberass boxters, s2ks, and other purpose built sports cars.
and omarg-
he didnt swap the motor (tho thats been done too, 2jz baby ) he did a fully custom Twin Turbo setup on the OEM 1uz motor. (built the bottom end of course )

Wow.. those are some serious modifications.
However, If I wanted to burn rubber and a quick quarter mile.
I would buy a pure sports car?? I would spend your money on some appearance modifications.. Wheels etc.
But hey if you want a super fast luxury car .. go ahead!

Yeah I wouldn't even worry about that nonsense now because it is going to get taken away. Guys don't speed cops are getting angrier and angrier at speeders. 70 in a 45 it will actually be a while before I see any of you guys again probably. have good lives don't speed. (this is my second reckless btw)

I have a 95 LS and also a 350z.......I too am spending big $$$$ to modify all aspects of my LS especially the motor - even though it makes more sense to do it to my Z. Why? Because I can man - more power to you brother - spend it if you have it - mod your LS and blow the doors off em all. It's different if you don't have the money ~ agreed.
