Installing CD Changer in 91 LS400
My 91 LS 400 came with the Pioneer Stereo that doesn't have the CD changer control on it. I was wondering would it be possible to obtain a new or used Pioneer (or Nakamichi) changer/controler that has the opition and install it? Would it be pre-wired for this already, or would it be a nearly impossible task (if possible at all). Any help on this would be much appreciated. I'd hate to spend the money and not be able to do anything with what I buy!

I see that you are new to the forum. You might want to search past threads - this question has been covered many times. No, gen 1 LS400's without a CD button are not prewired for a changer. Yes, it is possible to change out the head unit for one with a CD button and obtain the required cables and trunk mounted CD changer. If you buy new parts, the total cost will likely be as much as your car's market value - maybe more.
I'd recommend an MP3 player with a FM modulator. Or a new sat radio with a built-in FM modulator.
It is way less expensive to buy an LS with the options you want rather than try to add them later.
