Wheel Advice
I just purchased my 2002 LS 430 last June. I love the way it rides and must say it is a sweet-*** ride. At first I purchased it for my wife, but she now feels that it is too much car for her. Her loss, my gain.
I love this car. It is black on black with graphite emblems. It has the 16" chrome wheels on it, which doesn't look too bad. It's been four months and I just joined the club. Looking at all these Wald, Work, and Brabus wheels makes me want to purhcase a new set. I am thinking at least 18", maybe 19's.
My challenge is this: I am an elementary school assistant principal and don't want to look too pimped out. I already pull up in the parking lot bumping Common or Talib Kweli. I was thinking that I could buy the 05 LS 18" sport wheels in a polished finish and call it a day. Now I am thinking, there has got to be 18's out there with a little more edge that doesn't shout too much. I like the look of the Wald 1pieces in the polished finished, but have to admit they are way out of my price range.
So, my question is: do you guys have any suggestions/recommendations? If so, do you have pics of what they may look like on the 02 LS?
BTW--is it just me, or is the LS a damn sweet ride?
Husky Boi, out.

Congrats on your wife's loss, but back to the fun at hand. I'll give you some options and you let me know what's for or not for you. (common's CD is nice).
First I would say go with:
Work Equip in 19 staggered 19x8.5 and 19x10 in brushed aluminum with a polished lip.
Here is a pic of them in Chrome with a polished lip
Next
Work Euro Line: Same sizes and finish

great info!
Stefwilli--
Thanks for the info and pics. I really like the Work Termists and think the Equips would look sweet in brushed aluminum.
Just a couple of questions: If I go with 19's, then will I have to do something with my suspension? Also, will it compromise the smooth, comfy ride I have now?
Lastly, does the D2 site have prices? As an educator, budget is everything. I already spent the wad on the car itself!
Again, thanks.

No you don't have to do any suspension mods to put 19's, and in terms of your ride. What changes the ride is the stiffness of your suspension and the stiffness of your tires. Well your not changing your suspension so there is no worry there, and I give you 19's with the fat tire setup so your ride will be as close to stock as possible with aftermarket wheels.
No we dont post the prices online, feal free to PM me or email me stefan@d2autosport.com or call us for all price qoutes.
