Default 90-94 Rear Suspension Questions (Non-Air)

Never noticed this before & can it be right?

Do the Lower Control Arms (48730-50010) & the Strut Rod (48780-50010) use the same bushing (48725-50020)??

Is there a bushing replacement for the "Front Arm" 48710-50020 & 48720-50020??

Thanks, Damon

Looks like the rear lower arms (48730-50010) use 48725-50030 and the Strut Rods (48780-50010) use 48725-22110 , so no they dont both use the 48725-50020 bushing; Actualy 48725-50020 isnt a good part-number.

Not from the factory; same with the lower carrier bushings. You can get many rear suspension bushings aftermarket thru, among others, Armstrong Dist.

I know that Steve et all at armstrong do make these two specific bushings.

some info's here... https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-1st-and-2nd-gen-1990-2000/86781-rear-tie-rod-assembly.html

blech, got busy & lost train of thought !

Traturn,

I remember some old post where you have gone thru some of this process before, so thanks for the help.

I think the # I meant to post was 487525-22110. It is a strut rod bushing.
Sewell online also has it listed as a "front arm bushing"??

Gave the parts a visual once over today. None of these bushings are the same on the different part #'s.

This 90LS will have a new suspension front & rear. Cost will be about $3000 after install but the engine still purrs after 220,000 miles so we will see how far it goes.
