Recommendations for 15 inch rims for 92 LS4
I am interested in getting some different rims for my dark green 1992 LS4. I have new 15 inch tires so would like to stay with those. I know nothing about after market rims, so any advice is appreciated.
I have very little money in this car (which is a source of pride ) and it is in great shape, but the factory rims are kind of boring. Thus, I would like to stay on the cheap side for the rims, but something a little more interesting than what is on it. TIA

You can pick up some nice 98-00 LS rims and tires for cheap if you look around.

thats good advice. I wanna update my 91 and newer stock rims seem the way to go without looking like a wannabe ricemobile.
What Other Makes of Car / Models have compatible rims with the Lexus? I'm thinking maybe some Mercedes or BMw rims could look good on it.

As jeff mentioned, I think Mercedes has a different bolt pattern, not to mention, they will look a little weird on a Lexus, maybe because your used to see it on a brand of car.

yeah .. aftermarket 18" would be great, but i'm not gonna spend 2 grand on rims for a car I paid 3 grand for.
I might get the rims Grand_ LS 4 has . Those are stock right? they look like pure pimpery

Tire Rack appears to have some super deals right now on 15" wheels for the early LS: http://www.tirerack.com/upgrade_gara...&autoYear=1992
$65 for a Borbet wheel? Wow!
Personally I think the "Borbet Type B" looks especially nice on the early LS and it is only $109. A 7" rim is more than wide enough for mounting 225/60-15 tires -- vastly improves the braking over those little bitty 205/65 standard tires and there is no speedometer error.

Pole Position
if u dont want to go bigger i went with the 98 gs 5spoke 16inch, with 225 up front 245 rears, so id say 16/17max, bigger the rims, the smaller the *****, so member u dont have to compensate for something + usually bigger rims = more rolling weight
