A/c - Help
I have read all previous post related to this topic and have not found anything like this.
1991 LS400 - The A/C conked out and the LIGHT above the A/C button blinked. Later that same day, the A/C was working again.
Is this a sign of something? I am hoping it is not the Compressor -maybe just a valve or something.
Any ideas, thoughts, suggestions.
Thanks,
Madison

assuming it is the clutch--you can replace it; go to an A/C place, in
Covenington. Ain't nothing but plain ole Toyota.
Note if it is 'on the friz[whatever] , and it does it again--leave the car running and get out and see if the clutch is working--the compressor pully will be rotating if it is !!!!!!
By the way--did that big ole house[ 1911 or so] just before you get downtown get sold????? I am going to drive by again sometime soon. oh, I don't want it--would take about $300,000 to restore and furnish it.
Just curious--could be 'Tara' all over again.
