LED drl with no diffusers aka decoders anyone?
I recently purchase ijdmtoy LED DRL's and the moisture cap wouldnt fit over the decoder boxes. I then decided to install the bulbs without the decoders. Anyone else do this? I wanted to see if i can get some feedback. I heard rumors that it will blow different fuses in the car as well as flicker but i havent noticed anything to bad. Please advise!!

So i spent about 2 hrs today trying to figure out how i was going to get my ugly 9005 replaced with my nice LED version of them. I put them in two weeks ago and sure enough the work fine as high beams but would not work as DRL. Someone said buy resistors but i didn't like thinking of adding that much heat. Then someone said use a relay. I went out and get a 4 pin relay and wired everything up and nothing came on at all. I was like WTF!!! Checked and triple check. I decided to hook each light up to their own ground instead of sharing it with the relay. Still no dice but i did noticed something weird... If you use a chassis ground and leave the power wire alone on each light, the light works fine as DRL and high beams. so instead of using resistors or relay just cut the ground wire on each high beam and use a chassis ground source and then the light works like a champ.
