Day time runnings

I believe is this what most people are using right now... You lose your highbeam function with these though

(there are A LOT of thread on these LEDs if you search)
Or you can use HIDs in them instead:

I got my HID's installed today, (low beams, and fog) still trying to figure out the problem with the HID daytime running . . . when the tech put them in and set the switch to auto, they flickered like a strobe light so i'm still stuck with the ugly yellow looking color . . . 2006 GS 430 . . . any suggestions???? I went with the 8000k and they look GREAT!

Running HID's in the High Beam/DRL light will not work without any problems. Since the DRL mode is running at 6v and HID's require a solid 12v current, it'll flicker.
In theory, I guess you can use a capacitor and relay setup to draw a stable 12v current from the battery. Never tried it though, but it's food for thought.

Check out Osram Night Breaker Plus bulbs. These bulbs will give you a little more of a crisper, whiter color and will still be very functional when you go to use your high beams.
