DRL not working with LEDs.

As I understand it, both LEDs and HIDs require full voltage to fire. Lexus has in the past used the high (halogen) beams as DRLs because they will operate at 6v (placed in series for DRL service) to conserve the life of the lamps. In this application, LEDs and HIDs will either flicker or not illuminate at all at 6v. I understand some aftermarket solutions offer modules that will feed the DRLs in parallel (normal) at 9v, allowing them to fire properly. . .

Bump, has anyone had an issue with halogen bulbs?
I replaced mine with Nokya white bulbs, but the DRL aren't turning on, only when high beams are switched on do they work.
