Aftermarket HID problem on ES 350 (ES350)
Hi all:
I installed an aftermarket kit (Mcculloch) to my 07 ES 350 (no factory HID).
1st, I couldn't get the inside rubber cover to fit. The cover seems to only fit the halogen bulbs but not the HID bulbs. I tried 4 different bulbs from different manufactures with the same result. So I had to install the bulbs without the rubber covers which make the bulbs very loose. Does anyone else have the same problem?
2nd, sometimes when I turn on the low beams, one side of the HID would not turn on initially. I need to turn it off and turn back on to have both HIDs on. What would be the cause of the problem, and is there a fix for it?
Thanks in advance.

2. it is the ballast issue.. or wiring... best to use a relay....
1. what bulb size is it ? the OEM bulb size.. if it was H7 there is a metal piece that holds on to the bulb to the housing... the rubber cover is to seal moisture out right?
