Help with RX 300 HID Headlights

Help Gang,
I am currently looking to purchase an '01 RX 300. For some strange reason HID is not available for the RX 300 in Canada. HID is available for almost all other Lexus models. I have spoken to Lexus Canada they are passing my request along. I would like to know if it is possible to add HID to the RX. Can I purchase the lights from a US dealer and add them on. Is this possible and will it cost a fortune???

If you try to buy all the OE parts to upgrade it will be quite expensive, probably well in excess of $1500.
Your best bet is to kidnap one and switch the lights and then give it back
