IM THINKING TO GET A HID FOR MY IS
ANYONE KNOW HOW MANY K WOULD BE ENOUGH ?AND HOW MUCH IT COST?
AND WHICH BRAND IS GOOD?
ANY SUGGESTION ?

for high beam (head light)
the facotry original HID sucks,
Its cool when u just turn it on
but after 30 sec., u will see the difference
Any suggestion for HID headlight ?

putting hid in high beam is stupid imho. hid needs time to fire up. you can't flash people anymore coz' hid is too slow. plus why put money on something you hardly use every day?

ok to answer your question.
You want Phillips 6000k D2s replacement bulbs.
one of the things that people dont think about is the factory HID 4300k might be brighter to the eye but they are D2r which are made for a reflective housing like ours.
So when you upgrade to the 6000k which has less visability you should get the D2s bulbs...which spread the light everywhere and actually make it brighter for the driver! At least in my case it did. hell people flash me all the time....even a cop flashed me the other day!

since they are designed for projectors, the beam pattern is different, there are bright spots and some areas will be filled with glare as if you were high beaming everyone.

You know, cops can pull you over for this one.. I think you just got lucky that the cop didn't turn around and pull you over..
