Taking part in the "Euro DC tour" tomorrow
Yes, Japan is now part of Europe - at least for one day. LFA#209 (2FAST) will be chasing Valentino Balboni (famous Lamborghini test driver) through northern Maryland and DC on Sunday. Just gotta get there without the "po po" bumming my ride...

Are you going to be taping this to share with us?? Please say yes since we would like to enjoy the journey as well. Be safe.

No cameras mounted on my car for this trip, but I'm sure others in our group will have GoPros on. I'll see if my co-pilot can figure out how to use my cell phone for video...

At the very least, do a detailed write up of how the trip was and how your baby "socialized" with the Valentino Balboni on the road trip. Thanks

Baby was a star!
Well, back home after 650 miles and about 12 hours in 2FAST. She was the most "exotic" of about 200 supercars present - my God, there were actually 2 Aventadors, but baby got the most attention.
Performed beautifully on the rally, which was a somewhat tedious 3 hour course including almost 10 miles of what could best be described as a "path" through the woods. Not the fastest, but several Porsche's overeated in the blistering heat, and an Aston-Martin was apparently rear-ended.
The REAL adventure was the drive down and the drive back, a spirited romp with the car club that will undoubtably generate more "private" videos on YouTube...

Welcome home lunaC42.
I hope you don't have to go to work tomorrow. If I did 650 miles on s Sunday I would be shot. Maybe you went out there Saturday to break it up.
I also hope you had a great time.
You mentioned YouTube. I found a couple of videos already posted and here is one showing cars coming to the event and your are shown early on.
As you can probably tell, I ask a ton of questions.
What are you getting for highway mileage?
Do you use the charger that came with the car?
When you spec ed your car, were there other color combinations in play?

In response to your questions:
I'm only getting about 11 mpg total, but that is improving as the engine gets "worn in".
I used the charger last winter while the car was stored. works well, very chic.
was considering the "fresh green", but too flashy for my taste. i like black cars...

You said LFA performed beautifully next to other supercars in the rally race. Can you please elaborate a bit more on what your observations were??
