If this lfa has ones for sale then I don't think this is going to work. A shame. This car is priced all wrong. I know they are still losing money but they should have priced it in line with the superleggaria and made a few thousand of them to offset. I guess I'll pick up a gtr or something. Worst case there I only lose 20k or so. Thanks guys.
I think Lexus has made the right decision with the price and the quantity. It's only the US allocation that seems to be messing it up. They should give the unsold units back to Japan ASAP, or risk what Tommy has predicted a while back, i.e. buyers walking away from their allocations because of the much higher risk of short term depreciation due to the perception of low demand.

Dunno. I read Scott Pruett's twitter page regularly and he was tweeting regularly "sold 3 LFAs today to customers" etc. Seems like Pruett had been instrumental in selling a lot of the remaining LFAs lately. I also agree US got "over-allocated" with LFAs at 173 cars when they could have gone to other markets easily.

Wonder if he gets a commission for each LFA he sells.

In good economy perhaps they can move the entire allocation easily, but why forces the issue when the demand is elsewhere. I really hope Scott can close the deal. Hey maybe they should make a Scott Pruett Edition LFA

Yeah that was something I mentioned to Scott early in the LFA development when we were at Homestead Raceway in Miami. The Scott Pruett Signature Edition LFA.

Is he going to buy one or not? It'd be great to see him with a Nurb edition! I remember reading that as fast as he was, Naruse was even faster (homestead I think it was).

The guy has sold so many LFAs in the last few months (according to his twitter account), he should get a free LFA from Lexus since he does the samething day in and day out, yet is always willing to do back flips in the LFA to sell it to a customer.

Scott is a very humble man and he's a great representative of Lexus. He's enthusiastic to sell an LFA because he knows what the car is really about. No bs! Everything he says about the LFA and Lexus products are genuine. I'm fortunate to hear his real feedback when the ISF first came out when we were at Laguna Seca...and when the LFA first came out when we were at Homestead in Miami.

That is true. He has been doing it for almost 2 years day in and day out. With every person riding shotgun with him, he has to repeat a lot of the samethings. I could imagine at some point it could become very mundane.

However, it is very obvious that he has a lot of passion and spirit. Everytime I see a video of him doing hotlaps with someone sitting, he never sounds tired, exhausted or less than enthusiastic.

Speaking of Scott- he finally had his win streak in Grand Am broken yesterday. He came in 2nd lol. That's something when you can say that in the last 7 races he hasn't finished below the front row.
