FS: 1998 LS400 with 2000 & Motor top-end rebuild w/LS430 Wheels and AUX mod!
okay, so a while ago i got my hands on a 1998 Lexus LS400... I ended up doing a lot and i mean ALOT of work on it...
i had a build thread on here that i posted up.. which i'll link it on this page, but i'm actually going to sell it.
I wanted to put it on here first cause i know someone on this forum would appreciate it a lot more than anyone else i sell it to on eBay or craigslist... You guys know these cars, and love them. I would rather sell it to someone on here. Especially knowing that everything has been done to the car.
okay, since the thread, i did the wood ****, steering wheel, LS430 wheels, tires, and all new suspension around. you name it. so much stuff to list, but if your interested go look at this thread...

I'm selling it for $6,000 firm in Houston, TX. I feel that is a very, very fair price for it, members please chime in and let me know... The car needs nothing. I'm only selling it cause i just recently purchased an Audi R8, and with that and the Mercedes i don't have room for this one anymore.
the car has ALL pros, i have done everything to the car. there are two things that makes me unable to call this car perfect... the LCD screen to where the radio is leaked, and its black.. it works and everything is fine but the screen is hard to read... However i did pull the factory radio out, and go the AUX MOD done on the car, so the car has factory bluetooth and phone capabilities with the Nakamichi radio, which sounds great!
Also periodically i will get a CEL for a Oil control valve.. i remember getting the same code a year ago, and i opened the throttle body and gave it a good cleaning, and since then it disappeared.. however recently it started coming up again. I don't have time, nor access to a shop like i did in the past to go there to get it done, but i'm almost certain it needs a throttle body cleaning again. I did do some checks to make sure it wasn't running rich. so sometimes it would come on for a day or so, and then it will disappear for a while, and then weeks later, same code.. but those are the two things with it right now. other than that, this car is great. smooth, and overall great build quality.
I'll post some more photos of it recently, but check out my thread and you'll see the amount of work i put it on it.
Since the rebuild of the motor, i put 20k miles on it.

Yeah, i'm sure that would be correct. I ended up changing the cluster on the car with the cluster that came with the motor due to some sticky needles that were on the original one. with that being said i'm sure the carfax report would be all over the place as far as milage.
I figured that with all the work i put into the car, and along the documents that would speak volumes on the condition of this car, as opposed to a carfax report.
Happy New years everyone!
