Default FS: 1993 Lexus GS300 with Remote Start

You are looking at a 1993 Lexus GS300. It currently has 147,XXX miles on it right now and will continue to go up as it is my daily. I bought the car in August 2012 with 123,XXX miles on it and until now the car mechanically runs perfectly fine. The car currently gets Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil (changed every 3000 miles) and takes premium gas. The car is equipped with a Viper 7752V Remote Starter/Alarm for those hot summer days and cold winter nights. The A/C on this car gets colder than my Evo and the Heater feels like a sauna. The body for the most part is pretty clean; sitting on original paint from ’93 comes with some cosmetics imperfections on the car. (The way it sits now is the way I bought it cosmetic wise. I had intentions of fixing it myself, but just couldn’t find the extra funds to do it nor did it bother me as much since it was my daily.)

Exterior: The driver window trim has seen better days, but this is a well-known problem for this generation as they aren’t very durable. Both rear window regulators needs to be replaced: the left passenger regulator was shot when I got it and the right one looks like it’s on its way. Right above the rear left wheel are some rust starting and there is a dent on the right rear quarter panel, which had a chunk of paint chipping away and started to rust. And of course, 20 years worth of rock chips.

Interior: The driver leather is seat has a big rip in the middle and the rest of the leather seats have no rips, but you can tell its aged. Both seats are heated, but don’t move back or forward, BUT they do recline. I read that it is also a common problem with these seats and it’s a small little gear that needs to be replaced.

Shocks or struts, I'm not sure which, but they sound like they need to be replaced sometime in the future.

On a brighter note, I did replace the parts that do matter to help the car run for the long run:
- New Brakes Pads/Rotors – Aug. 2012
- Denso Spark Plugs – Sept. 2012
- New Trunk Struts – Sept. 2012
- New Alternator – Oct. 2012
- New Serpentine Belt – Oct. 2012
- (2) New BF Goodrich Tires - Nov. 2012
- Viper 7752V Remote Starter/Alarm (Installed by Ray’s Electronics) – Dec. 2012
- New Duralast Battery – May 2013
- Coolant Flush – June 2013
- New Thermostat – June 2013

The reason why I’m selling this is because I want to pick up an IS300. The car runs perfectly fine, I originally had intentions of going the “VIP” route, since there isn’t many in the Chicagoland area, but that ship has sailed. Since it was a daily for me, it wasn’t ideal for me to have another car to mod around.

Right now, the car is rolling on Supra MKIV N/A OEM Wheels as it is my winter setup. These will not be included in the sale.

I’m looking to get about $2,650 OBO. No trades, unless its an IS300. I will add cash on my end. Serious inquiries please.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach me at (630) 639-7178. I prefer that you text me first.
