FS: 90 LS400 pearl wht, very good condition
Selling my father's LS400, he had a stroke a few months ago and will not be driving anymore. Here's the details:
90 LS400 V8 auto/OD, about to turn 240k miles. All original paint and glass, never hit.
The bad: has lens crack on rr tail and rf fog, but both are sealed and function just fine with no water inside. Paint is wearing off on bumper tops front and back. Has maybe two dings on the whole body. Interior has a couple cracks in leather, a/c display readable only if you look at it from underneath it. A/c leaks, recharge lasts about a month then dash lite blinks again. Driver's mirror has crack from applying a convex mirror, but power movement and defrost function fine.
Other than that, car is outstanding. I bought it for him 5 years ago at the Lexus dealer in Marietta, GA with 165k on it. Just performed (7 mos ago) full maintenance with wires, plugs, caps, rotors, filters, always synthetic oil changes every 4k, motor runs smooth, tranny shifts smooth, all power options work fine. Absolutely no smoke or noises. One keyless entry key and one valet key, clean title. Good car for diehard commuter or as foundation for "pimping it out". Full first aid kit and tool kit, spare, etc. in trunk.
Really great car that has treated my father well for 5 years, He only puts Chevron Supreme in it cuz I gave him the credit card for it and paid the bill. I have an 88 4runner that I am restoring or I'd keep it myself.
I'd like to give him $3000 for it. Its a nice ride. Pictures are available if you e-mail me and are serious about buying a '90 with 240k on it. The car is worth it. I'd drive this car anywhere without a second thought, this car certainly has another 100k in it at least.
Done within the past few years: brakes + rotors (last year), alternator, belts, fan bracket bearing, o2 sensors (last year) PS hose.
